Web Designer / Graphic Designer
Stepframe Interactive is looking for an enthusiastic, detail oriented interactive designer to join our team. We are looking for problem solvers who enjoy meeting new challenges head-on. Stepframe works on a variety of projects of all sizes across all platforms and industries, including several nationally-recognized brands. As a member of a small and dedicated team, individuals will contribute to many aspects of projects and will have unique opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and present effective design solutions
- Follow a design brief and brand identity standards
- Excellent layout and typography skills
- Estimate project effort required
- Contribute to the navigational, interface, and motion treatment design for a project
- Prepare and optimize assets for use
- Organize and manage content flow
- Help Create Information Architecture and wireframe documents
- Carry out production utilizing mainstream design and motion graphics packages
- HTML/CSS creation and editing
- QA all work to Stepframe standards
Experience/Qualifications
- Excellent portfolio
- Preferable design degree or diploma
- Good understanding of user interface fundamentals, layout, and typography
- Proven commercial experience in an interactive design role
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash
- Proficient knowledge of web-standard HTML/CSS
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience of coding best practices
- Knowledge of usability, functionality and technical implementations on designs
- Written comprehension skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Works well in a collaborative environment
